Personnel Services, Inc. began operations as an employment placement firm in 1972. The staff of Personnel Services is highly trained and experienced in the placement field. As one of the largest agencies in the Midwest, we are dedicated to matching qualified candidates with top corporate clients, locally and nationally. Our services are broken into five divisions and our consultants are specialists in their given fields.  

I.  PROFESSIONAL / TECHNICAL SEARCH DIVISION

Personnel Services' Professional / Technical Search Division serves client companies, both locally and nationally. Our database of professional and technical candidates is very extensive. As the demand for qualified employees continues to grow, our staff members are trained, experienced and equipped to assist companies in finding the best employees. 

Personnel Services is a member of National Personnel Associates (NPA), and First Interview Company, two of the nation's oldest, largest, and most prestigious computerized placement associations. By cooperating with almost 700 agencies, staffed by 4000 recruiters across the nation, we can quickly find very skill specific candidates.

II.  CLERICAL SEARCH DIVISION

Personnel Services' Clerical Division serves local companies, large and small.  Using our skill assessment tests and personal interviews we can assist in finding the best candidates for a number of different positions.

III.  TEMPORARY / CONTRACT DIVISION 

For special projects, work overloads, unexpected emergencies, vacations and maternity leave, the Temporary / Contract Division is available to assist in filling employment needs. Personnel Services offers many versatile temporary / contract employees. Both Clerical and Professional / Technical employees can be contracted through our agency. Payroll, taxes and workers' compensation insurance are taken care of through Personnel Services. Should you have the desire to hire a temporary employee to fill a permanent position, the option is at a reduced fee.

V.  HUMAN RESOURCES CONSULTING DIVISION

Jerry D. Hardin, Founder

Personnel Services, Inc. was founded by Jerry D. Hardin, who for 27 years, served as President /CEO. Mr. Hardin has a BA degree in Religion and Philosophy and an MS degree in Clinical Family Therapy from Friends University. Prior to founding Personnel Services, Inc. in 1972, he worked three years as a personnel consultant for a large recruiting and placement firm and served as a Captain and R.W. Helicopter Pilot in the US Army. He has served as a Pastor and co-authored two books on marriage and family.  Mr. Hardin has served as an expert witness and legal consultant in workers' compensation, personal injury, social security and medical malpractice cases for over fifteen years and more than 12,000 cases. He is recognized by the State of Kansas Court of Appeals as an expert in these cases. Mr. Hardin has been married for over 35 years, has three children and five grandchildren.
